I know that St. John Bosco was an unbelievable educator of young poor boys, but that he also had a tremendous sense of humor. I wish the Salesian family a blessed day of celebration knowing that this saint showed them all the goodness of his heart and his great love for the Almighty. I read in a post that Sr. Collen Clair FMA wrote that St. John Bosco would even give his life if necessary for one of the boys. So, to me he follows the rule of “Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) Happy Feast Day!
