Has Religious Life meaning in a Secularized world?

Has the religious life meaning in a secularized world? It will cease to have meaning only if it takes to the path of secularization itself, by freeing itself of all that is sacred: prayer, the witness of the vows in order to become merely a service for the world. Only if religious life is radically different can it speak to a secularized world. If it lives the Gospel to the full, if it gives first place to seeking God and His kingdom, religious life still has meaning today and, over and above this, it still has a great, urgent mission to fulfill!- MOther Ersilia Canta

  1. .Pat Johnson: I Know we cannot live without God. Yet God will never be outdated! Religious life is a powerful force that by their dedication and strength can transform this period in time into a world filled with inner and outer spirituality. I just know that those serving God through a special calling, know how to read the ‘signs’ of ‘today’ and they do so through the light of God’s word. Traditional methods are gone. Yet the Church exists for the world that is changing and change the Church has done while the message of Christ has not changed. It is for religious to actively intervene in today’s society and as we know through History how much has changed, yet, Christ’s life and words however, will continue to live.
