Please be kind enough to pray in a special way to Baby Jesus for me. You know my needs, I won’t stop to repeat them. It is enough for me to remind you to pray hard that I may be able to give good example and put your holy teachings into practice.

Mother Mazzarello is definitely a very unusual Saint. In this letter she doesn’t list all her faults, but, knows that what she truly needs are prayer which conquers her faults and this in turn is the good example she so much wants to give to her daughters and I’d say to all she meets. I believe that through her example she knew she could drive fear from this new community that was beginning Love became the end all desire she had because with love each member knew how important it was to support one another.
Mother worked so hard on her own life that she knew that ‘supporting’ also means lending strength to. This was her goal and this she passed down.
Mother Mazzarello, pray for me to become saintly as you are.
