“I remind you to stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control. So do not be ashamed of your testimony to our Lord.”
God did not give us a spirit of cowardice…..so do not be ashamed….
Jesus, You said perfect love casts out all fear. Help me to love You more so I will trust You more!

What a topic fear is! I’m still trying to call a doctor for an appointment. However, when I think of it, in a way, fear is a ‘gift’ from God (BUIT).(It goes both ways – positive and negative) It helps us to survive when the necessity arises (think of the recent Italian ship disaster) We all know the type of fear these people went through. Yet, God has given people the ability to control fear rather than it controlling them, and in this terrible disaster, people used their god-given sense of survival, and not only saved themselves but also others.. If one ever faces fear it develops into anxiety so at this time whati’s to be done? I don’t believe for one second that there are those who at some time in life experienced no fear at all.
Also forget the anxiety pills they only create more anxiety.
The above post gves the answer:
1. Trust in the the Lord
2. Ask Him for help
3. Love
4. Do not be ashamed
5. Self-control
In the Gospel it says,” I am always with you.” God gives no more than we can endure. ( I kind of wonder aout this)
